People just don't upgrade because of the rediculous price cost. This money could circulate through up mats but instead goes to the server. Yes gold sinks are needed but this is way too much.

Resistance is calculated differently on this server. Your 52% darkness res is actually a 30% damage reduction Vs darkness DMG. So if you have berserk on with 15% increased damage taken the difference is quite big in my opinion.

There is no difference on attack speed because the cap is 170 and that's the whole problem. Damage should be the same ok, DPS though NO since one class is tanky and the other is not.
