The wait is coming to an end...
After 3 months, we are moving into the second Chapter of this adventure sometime this week. It is time to reflect on the journey behind and the journey ahead.
Chapter 1 was subtitled Chaos. WoM2 was restarted by a mostly completely renewed team, recruited from forums and social media, and an entirely rebooted concept for the server. And Chaos ensued often, indeed. The concept and its realization were rough around the edges, with many mistakes being made due to the dimension of the changes and the inexperience of most of the team. We apologize for those who were affected by them, but for the most part, and thinking long term, they had to be done.
Some were uncalled for. We particularly apologize for the pricing of the upgrades for the high-level items, which was very badly thought out and insufficiently reviewed. This pricing will be corrected to something more sane with this week's Chapter 2 patch. Also, the team has been restructured to ensure better control of the content in the future. We want this change of Chapters to be a point of inflection where updates stop being synonymous with friction in the player base.
Chapter 2 is named, after all, Order.
And in the name of Order, we have finally put the pieces of the puzzle where they belong.
The Chapter 2 patch also brings the Dark Dragons update and the Earth Dragon, a favorite and exclusive WoM2 dungeon. The drops have been revamped carefully to match the existing concept of the server. In the coming weeks, many other content updates and new events will come: the Battle Pass, our own thrilling version of OX, the Monarch System, and the Guild Rework to name a few in the pipeline.
We are sure you will be delighted to see everything we are preparing for you. But for now, that is enough of spoilers. A big thank you to those who had the patience to endure our shortcomings and setbacks. We will make WoM2 as great as you deserve.
