Hi RunQuick, we do not disclose information about what gets a ban only, and what gets HWID/IP ban. But I can say that if your friend is not trying to bypass HWID/IP bans in slyly ways, his next attempts to create an account and play wouldn't get banned (unless he cheats again). However, note down that WoM2 team has the right to ban accounts without having to show a reason if they bypass HWID/IP bans.
