The premise of this event: record breaking.
Event duration: a week
Rewards: based on the record (internal evaluation considering the weight of the activity, how much preparation is needed for the category, etc.)
If a player is best at more than one category, consider a unique prize, like a limited edition cosmetic.
There was an event like this on the previous WoM2, or something very similar. A week of nothing but grinding and record-breaking activities, such as:

Lunar New Year-themed event.
The premise of this event: collect Lunar New Year cards from monsters. Exchange the cards at an event NPC for various prizes.
Event duration: a week
Rewards: higher than Moonlight Treasure Box tier
The premise of this event: bring various items (upgrade items, ores, herbs, fish, misc. items, you name it) to NPCs across Map 1 and 2. NPCs will use these items in various rituals, but that doesn't have to be emphasized. Most players prefer rewards over lore.
NPC rotations will change daily, similarly to egg strengths of NPCs during Easter event. Each day NPCs will require you to bring different items to them in exchange for a Spirit Chest.
This event will be one of the better ones for the health of the server, as many unused items (wolf fur, white tiger hide, tiger fang, flaming mane, raw mandarin fish, etc.) will be sunk down into the void.

- Number dealer: Most damage dealt against a player
- Categories: by class (warrior/ninja/sura/shaman)
- All consumables and buff effects are allowed
- Dungeoneer: Fastest dungeon completion: team of two people or one player with 2 characters
- Categories: Demon Tower, Naaga Dungeon, Devil's Catacombs, future dungeons
- Dispatcher: Fastest to go from point A to B on a map (Map 2, Orc Valley, Mount Sohan, Snakefield, Fireland, Heaven's Lair)
- Only horses allowed; use of teleportation scrolls is forbidden
- Challenger: Fastest completion of a special challenge involving killing x amount of x level metins and x bosses
- Categories: by level (15-39, 40-74, 74-99)
- Top Fisherman: Heaviest fish caught: within 1 hour
- PKer: Most players eliminated in a Nation War
- Debt Collector: Most Tanaka Ears collected during a Tanaka Hunt
- Undefeated: Most players eliminated during a Sumo fight
- Requirements: participants must have nothing equipped, no potions, no alchemy, no pets, no mounts, except for a level 1 weapon +0
- Status effects: -70% movement speed, -50% attack speed for participants
- Format: duel
- Scoring system: participants must throw their opponent outside of a ring using only basic attacks. The use of skills is forbidden
- Survivalist: Last person standing in a designated are
- Requirements: participants are teleported to an enclosed space (similar to Dojang rings, but larger in area)
- Format: undefeatable mobs with extreme AoE damage are spawned within the space
- Scoring system: last player to remain alive wins
