What's new

With the recent changes, Poly ninja metin farm is DEAD.

So, let's make some basic math here. When you use polymorph for farming, which was given as an option at the start of the game, you have two options when someone that wants your metin spots you:
  • Run away, forfeit the metin. Your marble is worth more than a single metins drops.
  • Stand your ground. WTF? You have 6K pvp dps with a bow, even more with poly, why run? What if a soulstone drops?
The obvious option is the second one, yeah? But no, when someone is mounted:
  1. They knock you to the ground.
  2. Your fall will 99% get bugged and you'll stay flying in place, not being able to walk, run, as if your opponent is using anti-fly cheats or TP with the recent changes.
This will not change the fact that I will always be able to deny you your metin as a ninja player that has a semi-decent pvp set, but I won't have anything to gain from it. Fixing the flying bug is one thing, but to remove a whole INTENDED game mechanic such as teleporting your partner? This is outrageous, there were so many steps to take before taking this measure to fix mounting on PVP but this is definitely not it.

My suggestion is either revert the Wedding Ring changes or limit its capacity to PvP only.

The wedding ring was most likely changed due to PvP concerns, but this change hasn't solved the underlying issue: using mounts in PvP.
Auto-dismount from incoming PvP damage sounds reasonable, so both players are on equal ground, and have no option to forfeit. It would be a double-edged sword, because it could be used to sabotage farming and levelling. To fix abuse, implement a rule, that you can only be dismounted by players within 20 levels of you.

Here's the root issue:

Due to pvp? When mob attack you this is due to pvp?...
It was changed due to lack of experience or ideas.

lol how does anyone stand against a ninja (not bragging, bow has crazy dps) in poly, with %42 block and almost 230 attack speed? if you don't want to get ks'd, you should try getting good. If there's farming involved, big hitter takes the cake, always've been this way,
